Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Optio when you use this site to apply for a job. Short, and in plain English.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
1. This agreement
These terms are between you and Optio, based in Tbilisi, Georgia, and they govern your use of careers.optio.ai. By signing in or submitting an application you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
How we handle your data is set out separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. What this site is
A place to see the roles Optio is hiring for and to apply for them. It is not a job board for other companies, and it is not a guarantee of anything: submitting an application does not oblige us to interview you, to give reasons, or to fill the role at all. We may change, pause or withdraw a vacancy at any time, including after you have applied.
3. Who may use it
You must be old enough to work under the law that applies to you, and at least 16. You must be applying on your own behalf. Do not create an account for someone else or pretend to be them.
4. Your account
You sign in with a phone number, an email address, or a LinkedIn or Google account. That verified identity is yours alone. The codes and sign-in links we send are personal to you and short-lived: anyone holding one can reach your applications, so do not pass them on. Tell us at hr@optio.ai if you think someone else has got into your account.
One person keeps one profile, and applies to as many vacancies as they like from it.
5. What you send us
Your CV, your profile, your quiz answers and your assignment stay yours. You give us permission to store them and to use them for one purpose: considering you for work at Optio, now and for the retention period in our Privacy Policy.
You are telling us, when you submit them, that:
-
what you have written about yourself is true;
-
the work is yours to share, and sharing it breaks no agreement you have with anyone else;
-
it contains nothing confidential belonging to a current or former employer, and no other person's personal data beyond an ordinary reference;
-
it contains no malware and nothing unlawful.
We may remove anything that breaks these rules, and close an account that keeps breaking them.
6. Quizzes and assignments
-
The quiz is optional and is a self-assessment. It does not decide anything on its own, and skipping it does not end your application.
-
An assignment has a clock. It starts when you open the assignment, not when we send it, and the deadline is shown to you before you start. Submit late and we may still read it, but we are not obliged to.
-
Assignment work must be your own. Tools, libraries and AI assistance are fine and we expect them; passing off someone else's solution is not. If you submit a repository link, keep it reachable until we have finished reviewing it.
7. How we review you
Applications are read by the Optio hiring team. Software helps them: it summarises your CV and produces a suggested fit score for the role. That score is a prompt for a human, never a verdict. Every decision to advance, reject or make an offer is taken by a person. You can ask for the score to be set aside — see the section on automated processing in the Privacy Policy.
8. Using the site properly
Do not:
-
scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, or use it through automated tools;
-
try to reach data that is not yours, probe for weaknesses, or work around sign-in, rate limits or bot protection;
-
upload anything designed to damage the site or the people using it;
-
copy the site's content, design or vacancy text for another employer's use.
If you find a security problem, please tell us at hr@optio.ai before telling anyone else. We will not pursue anyone who reports one in good faith and does not exploit it.
9. Availability
We run this site with care but offer it as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of faults, and we may take it down for maintenance or change how it works. If an outage stops you meeting an assignment deadline, tell us and we will extend it.
10. Who owns what
The site, its design, its text and the Optio name and marks are ours. These terms give you no licence to them beyond using the site to apply for a job. Your submissions remain yours, subject to the permission in section 5.
11. Ending it
You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to hr@optio.ai. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or is used to abuse the site or its staff. Closing an account withdraws any application attached to it.
12. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, Optio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost opportunity or lost earnings, or for anything arising from a decision not to hire you.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, it goes to the courts of Tbilisi. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will tell you about a change that materially affects you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.
